Error: ProPlus.WW\ProPsWW.cab may occur during the installation of older versions of Microsoft Office, such as Office 2007, 2010, and 2013. However, this error can also occur with newer versions. I will explore several methods to resolve this error.
These recommendations have been compiled from posts on the official Microsoft forums.
1) If you have the distribution in ISO or IMG format, extract it to an empty folder and try to install the application from that empty (extracted) folder. You can do this by following the instructions in step 2.
2) Temporarily disable or, better yet, uninstall your antivirus software during the installation of Microsoft Office and try to install the application.
3) Uninstall any previous installations of Microsoft Office, and then try to reinstall Microsoft Office.
4) Download the ProPsWW.cab file and specify it in the installer that requests it. You can download it from our server (169 MB).
