Skype For Business is an enhanced version of the Skype messenger that we are all familiar with. It offers additional functionality that can be useful for corporate tasks. Let’s highlight some of the most interesting features:
– Simultaneous participation of up to 250 users in a video conference, compared to the regular version which supports up to 10 participants.
– Recording video conferences and saving the archive in the OneDrive cloud.
– Close integration with all Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
– Screen sharing and remote access transfer to another user (similar to TeamViewer). Additionally, there is an interactive whiteboard function for drawing and recording various information, as well as polls and voting.
– Full integration with Asterisk IP PBX, allowing you to make and receive calls directly to work phones, with additional features such as call forwarding and call holding.
– Some functionality requires an additional paid subscription. Read more on the Microsoft website.
