If you have Wndows XP installed and you want to upgrade to Windows 11, unfortunately, direct upgrade is only available from Windows 10 to Windows 11. You can try a "transitional" upgrade, i.e., first from Windows 7, then from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and finally to Windows 11. For more details, check out our previous article.

However, please note that this won't be considered a direct upgrade because going from Windows XP to Windows 7 is essentially a clean installation. Applications installed on Windows XP will not be transferred to Windows 7; you'll need to install them again.

Also, please be aware that:

- Windows 11 has minimum hardware requirements and TPM virtualization. If your PC doesn't meet these requirements, installing Windows 11 will be impossible. Check the minimum requirements for Windows 11 on the Microsoft website.

- There is an unofficial way to bypass the Windows 11 system requirements and install the system on a low-performance PC without TPM. Learn how to do this in our previous article.
