If you encounter the following error in Microsoft Office (any version): Upload blocked. We couldn't verify you have the necessary permissions to upload the file.

Let's consider the reason for this error and how to resolve it:

1) Clarify if this error occurs only in a specific file (Word, Excel, etc.), or in all files?

1.1) If it's in a specific file, you can check with the author of the file who originally created it, to see if they have set any restrictions on the file they sent you.

1.2) Also, you can check if the file is blocked by right-clicking on it => Properties => If the file is blocked - unblock it by clicking on the corresponding line (button).

2) If the above recommendations did not help, try reinstalling your application using the official Microsoft utility - Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant. You can download the application and read the instructions on the following page.

Then, reinstall the Microsoft Office installer again. You can download the original MS Office installers from our catalog.
